If you are on Facebook I’m sure you’ve heard of the lack of ‘reach’ that business pages have. I have over 1,000 likes on my page and 1% of people who have liked it ever see any of my posts now. That’s not fair. Yes, I know Facebook is a business, and businesses need to make money, but many of the businesses that use Facebook to promote their businesses simply don’t have the money to pay to have people who have already shown an interest in a page by liking it see what we post. You also have to be a genius to figure out how to target your adverts properly to get sales/views/interaction. It takes thousands of dollars/pounds to advertise on Facebook.
Several of the business pages that I like on Facebook have moved over to TSU.co – it’s a new platform similar to Facebook, but if you ‘follow’ an account you see what they post, you don’t have to tick any boxes, constantly interact on their page etc. I opened an account yesterday, and will see what happens over there. Any spammy posts – ‘follow me, like for a like’ type stuff is not allowed, and there are limits on how many people you can friend and follow right now (1000 follows) so not a low limit at all.
YOu need to go through an existing account to join – https://www.tsu.co/DeniseHayes is mine.
Have a look; you might find that it’s less commercial and easier to manage than your facebook page, whether it’s a personal or business one!
